Dining at Atelier Crenn

Dining at Atelier Crenn promises to be a vibrant, singular experience of indulgence, creativity, and inspiration – it reflects the unconventional path that Chef Crenn took to becoming a world-class chef, but also strives to find resonance with each individual by sparking a memory, or creating a new one.

Born and raised in France, Crenn spent many summers in Brittany, developing a deep love and respect for the sea. Her menu at Atelier Crenn showcases the bounty of the sea and the finest products sourced from local farmers. It is crafted with product from expert fishermen and small purveyors who prioritize thoughtful and responsible cultivation of their ingredients. A vegetable-forward menu is available for guests who are unable to enjoy the entire pescatarian menu.

Our Dedicated Producers

Atelier Crenn has always prioritized ethical sourcing, partnering with dedicated producers who cultivate their ingredients with care and respect. After an extensive search for a trusted dairy producer, we are excited to work with 2 small dairies to supply our butter and cream.

Animal Farm Creamery produces exceptional butter from a cherished herd of only 10 cows. We receive weekly shipments of our table butter that is produced by one single cow - Timothy. We also work with San Martin Milk Company who supplies butter for our beloved brioche recipe.

We keep in frequent contact with our dairy producers and love to see pictures of our Jersey cows enjoying life at the farm. We look forward to long lasting and meaningful relationships with our purveyors and hope to find more producers who also embody our shared values of excellence, artistry, and humanity.

Certified Plastic Free

As a true commitment to protect our planet, we are certified as a Plastic Free establishment. This means that we have removed single use plastics from our restaurant and we are the first restaurant in the United States to do so.

We work closely with all of our vendors to educate them on their use of plastics and their impact on the planet. In addition, our staff are continually trained on our strict standards of recycling and our plastic-free future. It is our hope to inspire the movement to have plastics removed from our industry altogether.

As part of our continual commitment, we pledge to be ambassadors for this movement, to share the invaluable knowledge we have gained during the plastic free-certification process and to guide others along the same path. To learn more about how your establishment can become plastic free please email us directly or visit plasticfreecertification.org.
